For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord, Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working wherby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:20,21

What an inspiring verse! One day our vile bodies will be changed, and fashioned like Jesus’s glorious body!

Revelation 21, starting with verse 3, also reaffirms the joy we will experience in heaven: And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” And he that sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And he said unto me, “Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

I especially love the last part, that these words are true and faithful!

I can’t wait for that change to take place, for the transformation of this vile body, to be changed into that glorious one! I am thankful that with God, all things are possible! He is able to do exceedingly more than I could ever ask or imagine! God is good!

Thank You for giving me hope, Lord! I know You are not finished with me yet!

This was a poem God inspired me to write when my mother passed away:

Absent from the Body, Alive with Christ!

Alive, and jumping for joy,

There in the presence of her King!

Overjoyed, happy, filled with praise

and thanks for everything!

 Walking on heavenly paths,

streets of glass-like gold,

Now understanding the secrets of God

and stories of the prophets of old.

Sitting by saints who have  gone before,

Standing in awe, in the presence of our Lord!

A smile, a gleam in her eye,

Joining others in praise with one accord!

 Joyfully redeemed and made new

Able to walk, speak, see, and hear,

And Jesus himself, wiping away  her every tear,

Confirming His love as her Savior!

Her crown of glory, offered back to Jesus,

She’s now in heaven, made new,

By God’s creative power,

Waiting for me and you!!!
