Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession. Ephesians 1:13-14 (NIV)
The Holy Spirit is actively working in this generation. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance. In the book of Acts, there are several events where the Holy Spirit, like tongues of fire, fell on men who accepted the Lord as their Savior. If you aren’t sure of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, read the account in Acts 2:
2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
There is a baptism by water, and one of the Spirit. If you have not done so, ask the Lord to baptize you with His Spirit.
It is out of love the God gives us His Spirit. I love that nothing can separate us from God’s love. It goes beyond borders, beyond time, and God’s love toward us knows no bounds!
This YouTube video was inspiring to watch. It shows people from many nations singing and dancing in worship of our wonderful God.
I also have a fun bit of news. In the Spokane, Washington area, there is a nun. She enters competitions that test the strength of the participants. She is now 84-years old, and is entering an Iron Man event in Hawaii. She said that crossing the finish line is like entering the Pearly Gates.
She also said she doesn’t train for these competitive events. Instead, her strength comes from the Lord.
She is called the Iron Nun! What a modern day inspiration!

Thanks, Lord, for the many wonderful things You do. You arranged for us to have the Holy Spirit within us, sealing us with the guarantee of salvation, and eternal life. He comforts us, convicts us, and gives us the gifts we need to run this earthly race towards our Heavenly goal. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit!
