And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: Colossians 1:20,21
I am so glad for the forgiveness that makes us unblameable and unreproveable in God’s sight.
My son’s birthday is today. He turned seventeen.
I am so fortunate to see the relationship that a parent has for a child. When my son is happy, I’m happy. When he hurts, I hurt. I love him so much, and I want to see him experience a full and wonderful life.
As God’s children, heirs through Christ, I can understand that God loves us, and wants the best for us. He would want us to live life to the fullest, appreciate life as a gift from Him, and love others who are made in His image. He would want us to appreciate the sacrifice and love of His Son, Jesus.
The gift of life is precious! There is nothing like it! To see new life, and watch a child grow and thrive in love is an amazing experience!
Love is patient, kind, forgiving, it doesn’t remember wrongs, it doesn’t envy, or flaunt itself, and it rejoices in the truth. Love is essential to an abundant life!
Thank you God, for my son, and the awesome love You have shown toward Your children! You are so wonderful. The gifts of love and life, nothing can compare. Thank You! Help me to show Your love toward my son, that he would grow and thrive, and learn to cherish You! May Your love always guide him. Thank You for reconciling us, and making us Your own dear children through Christ. Amen.
