God is an Amazing Provider

Psalm 145:13-18

“Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. the eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”

God is good! He provides for every living thing.

So many things we take for granted, like the gift of health, sight, food, the abilities to see, hear, think, smell, taste, touch, and so many more!

I enjoy seeing wildlife. I have been so blessed to see bears, mountain lions, deer, elk, moose, and so many other creatures in their natural habitat. God is such an artist. Who would have thought to make some of the many animals that He has? What beauty!

I enjoy watching the many different birds. I have seen eagles soar high, then dive to grab a fish from the river. I have seen the Flickers, orange and spotted, and like a woodpecker, hammer the cedar on our house. I have seen bluebirds, cedar waxwings, wrens, hawks, jays, and so many other kinds of flying works of wonder!

I love good food. God provided so many kinds of vegetables, fruits, grains, and different kinds of fish and meat. Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, and the list goes on. Bananas, coconuts, papaya, and pineapples, — can one even begin to list all the foods on the earth that taste so good? There is such a variety!

Both those who believe in God, and those who don’t, enjoy the many benefits that God has provided.

I love the fingerprints that God has left on the earth that He created!

Thank You God, for Your many blessings! Help me to appreciate the beauty of Your handiwork, always!
