On Day Three:

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. Genesis 1:9-13

This is so exciting!

Computer technology can generate videos of instant creation. By using a sequence of photos taken in the same spot over a period of time from winter to spring, photographers can put the pictures together to make it appear as though the scenery immediately changed. Here is a nature time lapse video that is mesmerizing:

That’s what I imagine with those first days,– instant creation, nature obeying the voice of God–immediate existance, immediate birth of grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs! All the wonderful plants and fruit trees we enjoy were created on the third day!

Then, the most awesome thing — they had the ability to recreate, each with seeds that would carry on their reproduction for thousands of years! Each after their own kind! Apples, Oranges, Peaches, and sweetness everywhere!

Generation, and regeneration, the birth of life and beauty of plants, trees, and grasses on the earth, how wonderful!

The oceans and seas with their great beauty and strength were divided from the dry ground, the land, and behold, God planted a beautiful garden with immediate results.

We enjoy so many types of land features, the mountains, valleys, plains, plateaus, each with their own kind of beauty and plant life. There are deserts and tropical places, tundras, and polar places. God is a great creator, and I cannot begin to describe His amazing artistic, organized, intelligent design that has been created.

Each of us have been blessed with the gift of the earth, the heaven, the light and darkness, the dry land and oceans, and every kind of plant that has been put here for us to enjoy. And it doesn’t stop here, day four, five, and six were created with more enjoyment for the inhabitants of the earth.

Thank You, God, for Your amazing beautiful creation! I am in wonder of all the things you have created. Nothing surpasses Your knowledge and ability to create. I praise You and give You glory! How wonderful, how marvelous, how amazing is Your creation! I worship You, Oh God! Thank You!

  1. Thank you, Dawn. I didn’t get saved until I was 23 years old, but as a small child I believed God must be somebody pretty wonderful to give us this beautiful world to live in. And just think: we call this world beautiful, yet it is marred by sin. Oh, how perfect and glorious heaven must be, for it is not marred by sin.

    • I cannot even fathom the beauty of Heaven! It seems that when we are little children, we can see the beauty of God in the things He created. Everything is new, colors are vibrant, and our ears pick up the sounds of the birds, the frogs, and nature’s unique melodies. God made a truly wonderful world! I am so glad you found salvation! You have encouraged many people through your writing. Thanks!

We are creative people because God, the master Creator, passed on His gift of creating to us. And He diversified the gift so that there are numerous ways to create: writing, photography, painting and drawing, sculpture, carpentry, needlework, and so much more.
