Blessed to Read Revelation:

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3

The sermon at our church was about the possibility of this being the last great generation before the end of the world.

If one pays attention to the words of prophecy, and hears the news today, it is possible that we are very close to the end.

Israel is surrounded by her enemies. Nations are at war with each other. There are signs and wonders in the heavens. Knowledge has increased. The word of God has been spread across the world, and is available to almost everyone through electronic and written means. The earth is groaning, disasters are increasing.

What is God saying to us?

God was so gracious in having John write the book of Revelation.

It starts with verse 1: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.

In other words, this is a believable account of what is to happen.

Revelation ends with the verses: He which testifieth these things saith, “Surely I come quickly.” Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Jesus is coming quickly. We need to be ready,– spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Thank You for giving us the book of Revelation, Dear God, so that we can read of what is to come. I pray that You would send workers for the harvest, that many more might be saved. In Jesus Name, Amen.
