The Blessings of Reading God’s Word:

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Revelation 1:3

Reading God’s Word gives us many blessings.

2 Timothy 3:

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

By reading God’s book of Revelation, there is a special blessing. To hear and read about the things that will shortly take place prepares us for the day that Christ will return. It will help us understand the times, so that we will not be deceived. Reading the prophecy of the end times is exciting, encouraging and convicting. It is also necessary.

Thank You, God, that Your word prepares us for the things to come. Thank You for telling us the things we need to know, so that we will not be deceived. Thank You for Your merciful, forgiving love. I pray for Your perfect will to be done. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
