The Everlasting Gospel:

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Revelation 14:6,7

How wondrous it must have been for John to see this vision of the end times. He saw an angel flying in the middle of heaven. This angel possessed the everlasting gospel that will be preached to those that live on the earth, and to every nation, kindred, and tongue and people. — There will be no excuse for anyone, that they haven’t heard the gospel.

This angel speaks loudly, commanding everyone to fear God, and give Him glory: for the hour of His judgment is come: and they are commanded to worship Him that made the heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Genesis, the first book in the Bible, reveals that God created the heaven and the earth. The last book of the Bible, Revelation, again confirms this, and tells us to worship God and give Him glory for all the things He’s made.

Our life comes from God. He has the right to judge us. We are His creation. We were created to perfection, but the introduction of sin made us imperfect. There is only one cure for sin, and that is God’s plan of salvation, through Jesus Christ, His Son.

This Easter, we can reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus, how He saved us, and why He had to. He is our ‘Passover Lamb’. Because of Him, we are victorious, redeemed, delivered, and free!

Dear God, I give You praise, honor, glory, and  thanks, for creating everything, and for Your perfect plan of salvation. I know You will come with judgment. I pray for Your will to be done, and for Your mercy and grace and forgiveness. We have no excuse before You for our sins, but we have salvation, forgiveness, and redemption through the blood of Jesus, that cleanses us from all sin. Thank You!
