Welcome! I have been very interested with the books of prophecy, lately. I have been reading the book of Daniel, and parts of Revelation. Yesterday, while walking my dogs in the woods, I asked God what He would like to reveal to me? I saw that even though it was only July, the grasses were brown, and going to seed in the heat, the smoke from several wildfires in Washington State were filling the air. Turkeys flew out of the grass, and some of the trees looked like they were turning fall colors. The berries on the bushes were loaded. I heard the words, “The fields are ripe for harvest.” As current events are played out, the wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in divers places, tsunamis, volcanoes, etc, it makes one think that the Lord’s return must be soon.
Are today’s activities all over the world “worse that in the days of Noah”? Abortion, Euthanasia, the right to die bills, killing, stealing, all the advancement in technology that has made it impossible to stay private, along with blatant disregard for the laws of our land, and immorality impacting the whole world, I might say that it is.
I wonder how long God will wait before he has had enough, and comes in judgment of the world? That is a pretty heavy thought, and I do a feel an urgency to be as close to the Lord as I can be at this time. What do you think?
July 19, 2014:
In the book of Matthew, Chapter 24, starting with verse 3, as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him, privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
I believe many of us have that same question in mind today. Here is the answer Jesus gives:
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
( How many in the pulpit, today, are trying to deceive God’s people?)
“For many will come in my name saying, ‘I am the Christ.’ and will deceive many.”
(How many profess Christ, and then live out His name in vain?)
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet“.
(All over the world, wars are being fought.)
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
(With genetically modified foods, fields left fallow, and no storehouse of provisions in times of drought, we are in danger of famine. Look at all the diseases that are being manufactured for biological warfare, swine flu, bird flu, aids, mrsa, flesh -eating bacteria, and more.)
“All these things are the beginning of sorrows.”
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
(If you visit worthynews.com, you will find under their Christian news section, how many people are being killed for their faith.)
“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.”
(Can you see how this verse is playing out in the world today?)
“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.”
(Look at how church leaders are caving to the pressure of the world, instead of preaching the Word.)
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
“But he who endures to the end will be saved.”
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” …..
This passage was taken from the New King James version of the Holy Bible, published by Thomas Nelson
According to the Words of Jesus, a lot of these things are taking place, and this could be the beginning of sorrows, or beyond that, as Israel is waging war, and is surrounded by her enemies. Events in Revelation seem to be unfolding as well. We are being pushed toward a central government. Look how International laws are trumping our own laws in this nation.
I feel very strongly that it is a time to draw near to God, and make certain of our salvation in Jesus.

Let’s look at Jesus’ words in Matthew, “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
I could easily be deceived to think young children and teens coming from central America are just looking for a better place to live. That is what I would want to believe. Do we let them come in without any stipulations? I would want to be accepted if I went to another country after fleeing my own. There is a bigger picture though.
A news article stated that Homeland Security asked the Catholic Churches in California to house and feed illegal immigrants and children until 2016. Here is a link.
Further down on the page, is another article’s link stating that 52,000 illegal immigrants have been apprehended since October of last year. It also says some 360,000 cases are still waiting on a hearing from immigration. In Idaho we have housed illegal immigrants too. One of them has been convicted of terrorism against our country, Fazliddin Kurbanov.
I don’t condemn the people who are coming here, and neither do I condemn a church that helps displaced people. However, Hal Lindsey had a program where he quoted Proverbs 25:28: He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Hal Lindsey’s program can be found here.
Walls were put around a city for protection. The city could choose who they let in so they could keep the city safe. We have “rulers” now who want to let anybody into our country without any documentation, and without knowing their intentions. I don’t know the the people who are trying to gain access into our country. California wants to give them licenses, and after they got licenses, they could go anywhere and gain citizenship through re-licensing. They would be allowed to vote, drive, work, and all without any accountability or legitimate citizenship.
We would like to think people are basically good, but according to the Bible, not one person is good. I hope that those entering our country would be seeking and wanting to contribute to a better life. The reality though, is that gangs from central Mexico are leaving their marks on processing centers in Nogales, AZ, and border patrol agents have found that “MS-13” gang members are being recruited in these processing facilities. These MS-13 members are hard core drug dealers, murderers, lawless gang members who are also trying to recruit our American youth, and anyone else that will deal for them. You can find a link to the MS-13 article here at Fox Insider News.
Are people being deceived about the immigrants who are supposedly coming here for a better life? Without walls will our country be broken down? You get to decide.
Pestilences: July 30, 2014
Ebola has killed many hundreds of people in West Africa, recently. The toll was near seven hundred. News stories said there was fear Ebola would reach the United Kingdom, and possibly the United States.
Ebola starts out with flu like symptoms, but also causes the patients to vomit, and hemorrhage internally and externally. A high percentage of people that contract it, die. An epidemic such as this is catastrophic.
God’s Power Displayed in the Israel/Gaza War: August 4, 2014
I was reading an article featured in a story at www.breakingchristiannews.com. It was about the missile defense system, called the Iron Dome. One of the commanders in charge of firing missiles from the Iron Dome to intercept incoming missiles gave an unusual account. He claimed to see with his own eyes, the power of God. The Iron Dome fired two missiles that missed their target, which was an incoming missile that would have hit a largely populated area. The wind came up and blew the incoming missile into the sea.
This article claimed that a member of Hamas said that they aimed the missiles correctly, but God sends them off course. When even the enemy correlates the story, that is pretty amazing. A copy of the story is printed below for your enjoyment.
“I witnessed this miracle with my own eyes. It was not told or reported to me. I saw the hand of God send that missile into the sea.” -Iron Dome Battery Commander
(Israel)—Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system has been wildly successful during the current Gaza war, but on occasion it can and does miss incoming terrorist rockets.(Photo via Israel Today)
One would think that the 10 percent or so of Hamas rockets predicted by Iron Dome’s radars to hit populated areas that are not intercepted would still cause significant Israeli casualties. But somehow, they don’t.
An earlier, unconfirmed report floating around the Internet had a Gaza resident attributing the lack of Hamas accuracy to Israel’s God moving the rockets off-course to protect His people.
“We do aim [our rockets], but their God changes their path in mid-air,” a Hamas commander was said to have told someone who wondered why Gaza-based militants can’t seem to hit their targets.
Whether or not that report is [true], an Iron Dome operator whose battery failed three times to down an incoming missile headed toward Tel Aviv last week, said the overall assessment is [accurate].
In remarks relayed to an Israel news site (Hebrew), the Iron Dome battery commander recalled:
“A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israel’s equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died.
“We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This is very rare. I was in shock. At this point we had just four seconds until the missile lands. We had already notified emergency services to converge on the target location and had warned of a mass-casualty incident. (Photo via Israel National News)
“Suddenly, Iron Dome (which calculates wind speeds, among other things) shows a major wind coming from the east, a strong wind that…sends the missile into the sea. We were all stunned. I stood up and shouted, ‘There is a God!’
“I witnessed this miracle with my own eyes. It was not told or reported to me. I saw the hand of God send that missile into the sea.”
Also last week, Col. Ofer Winter, commander of the Givati Infantry Brigade, described a mysterious fog that favorably covered [him] and his troops as they advanced on an enemy position in morning light, after their nighttime raid was postponed.
Col. Winter labeled the covering as “clouds of glory.”
Earlier in the Gaza war, Col. Winter sparked heated national debate when he encouraged his troops to lead the charge against an enemy that “curses, defames and abuses the God of Israel.” Col. Winter concluded his letter by praying that the “Lord your God go with you, to fight for you against your enemies and to save you.”

According to an article at shoebat.com, in Iraq, repentance centers are being set up for ISIS soldiers. American trained Iraqi soldiers are joining ISIS by droves. This repentance center is a place where they can receive forgiveness from Allah for killing thousands. According to the same article, all Judicial courts are replaced and all government employees must attend an ISIS center, declare repentance and get a document giving his allegiance to the Islamic Caliphate and prove his innocence. If you can’t prove your innocence, or if you are Shiite you will be beheaded from the front or back of the neck or shot. All Christians are now prohibited from working in the government or buying or selling unless they pay tribute or give their allegiance to the Caliphate. All doors are knocked on to report how many unmarried girls exist in order to marry them later to the ISIS soldiers.
This is horrific news for Christians, yet exciting times for believers. When I hear that a Christian can’t buy or sell without giving their allegiance to something, I think of the mark of the beast. I have read in a book by Wallid Shoebat that the symbol on Muslims headbands can be translated to the mark of the beast. There is an interesting article on the symbols that Muslims use in pdf form at: www.tedmontgomery.com ISIS has been slaughtering Christians, beheading even children. They have been terrorizing anyone who is not a Muslim. This is happening in the Middle East, and ISIS has further plans to make it to Israel, where they want to destroy that beautiful country, and take over Jerusalem. They could be considered a form of the Antichrist, because they are against Christianity.
Jesus was willing to die for me, when I was still a sinner. He came to seek and save the lost. Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and raised the dead. God’s kingdom is not an earthly one. We worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Mohammad was a man who wanted to walk in Godly ways when he saw how sinful his people were. He claimed that the angel, Gabriel, visited him. Mohammad saw that his people were lewd and drunk, that the rich were not kind to the poor, and he wanted to change that. When Mohammad fought wars, he didn’t want innocent people to be killed. He also let many Meccan soldiers go, after a war, because they were his people, even though the Meccans had tortured the Muslim believers. He showed mercy. That is not the picture that we get of ISIS.
The people practicing Islam, calling themselves ISIS, are not following Mohammad’s ways of battle. They are killing innocent people, raping women, beheading Christians, and imposing taxes on people who love God. Their leaders are trying to tell them that the repentance centers hold salvation for them. There is only one way to salvation, and that is through Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father, except through Him.
